We monitor all incoming flights in real time using your flight number. If your flight to Tulum International Airport (TQO) or Cancun International Airport (CUN) is delayed, rescheduled, or arrives early, we automatically update your pickup schedule at no extra charge. Your private driver will be waiting at the designated arrivals terminal holding a personalized sign with your name as soon as you exit customs.

Gratuities/tips for your driver are optional and at your discretion, but no extra charges will ever be added upon arrival.

Yes, as a fully private transportation service, your route can be customized. You can request stops at major grocery stores (such as Super Chedraui Tulum or Selecto Chedraui), ATMs, or currency exchange kiosks on the way to your accommodation. Quick stops under 15 minutes are included; for longer grocery stops, you can easily add additional wait time during checkout or via WhatsApp booking.
What child safety options and vehicle amenities are provided for families and long trips?
We offer complimentary certified child seats, baby car seats, and toddler boosters upon request during booking. What is your cancellation and date modification policy for private transfers and day tours?
All private transportation reservations are non-refundable under any circumstances in the event of a customer cancellation. However, if your travel dates, flight numbers, or pickup times change, simply inform our support team via WhatsApp or email prior to your scheduled pickup. We will happily update or reschedule your itinerary seamlessly without any administrative fees.
Can I hire a private driver for the full day in Tulum, or do you only offer point-to-point transfers?
We offer both point-to-point transfers and full-day dedicated private driver services (by the hour or by the day). Will our transfer be exclusive to our group, or will we share the vehicle with other passengers?
All transfers and tours booked with Tulum Private Drivers are 100% private and exclusive to your party. You will never share your vehicle with strangers, nor make unscheduled hotel stops along the route.
What payment methods do you accept, and when is payment due for private transfers?
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), and secure online payment links at booking. You can pay in advance a small deposit to confirm your booking and settle the remaining balance in cash (USD or MXN) with your driver upon arrival.
